« Backup & restore your drive with O&O Disk Image | Main | Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8: complete hard disk toolkit »
There are some tools that would be handy if they were built-in to Windows. One of these tools is a high-end screen grabbing tool that enables you take a grab of an active window, or a flash animation, rather than the standard 'print screen' screen dump.
Luckily there are a number of free screen grabbing tools available and one of them is a favourite of ours, Screenshot Captor 2.28.01. Rated as a 5-star product by vnunet.com and end-users, it's such a flexible and well-designed tool. You can quickly choose to grab your entire screen, active window, a portion of your screen and even moving animation. You can delay your grab, choose to include the cursor and then export as a high resolution or compressed image. All the options are available.
Download Screenshot Captor 2.2.8.01 for yourself and also check out the free FastStone Capture 4.8.
FastStone is an amazing utility... and portable; I keep mine on my flash drive.
