When Firefox 2 was released in October it was a much-anticipated web browser. However, there aren't too many changes or improvements over 1.5x. One of the key advantages is the inline spell checking feature which makes writing these blog entries an easy process - simply check your spelling as you type.
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 is the latest update with a number of security fixes and minor enhancements. One of these new features is preliminary support for Windows Vista. There are still a few issues with full Vista support. If you want more info, look at the release notes. If you're an existing Firefox 2 user, your browser should update automatically. If you're still a 1.5x user, it might be time to download and install the new version.
