Screengrab_30 Someone once laughed when I mentioned that I monitor the weather from my desktop. They argued you could simply look out of the window if you needed to see how the weather was performing. They're right, but if you work in an office where getting up and about isn't easy, or you're thinking of planning an outdoor event, you'll want a rough indication of what the weather is going to be doing this evening.

Forecastfox 0.9 is another Firefox extension that will ena ble you to grab an indication of the current and forthcoming weather forecast, without having to leave your web browser. If you're looking forward to a planned holiday, you can even change locations, so you could keep an eye on the weather expected at your holiday destination.
