Latest anti-spyware protection using Ad-Aware 2007

Grab140 Up until recently Ad-Aware was the anti-spyware tool of choice and recommended by many in the industry. It didn't lose it's way, but rival products were simply more aggressive in terms of promotion, marketing and market penetration. However, there was always a free version of Ad-Aware, which made it a popular choice for many.

Ad-Aware 2007 was recently released and it's been a long time in development. The new version sports a brand new and updated interface, support for finding and eliminating all sorts of malicious software, track sweep support for eliminating your tracks when you surf the Internet and support for multiple browers. The Free edition doesn't enable real-time scanning, so you'll have to manually search for spyware if you want to check your computer.
