Key new updates to two of our favourite web browsers this week. Firefox 2.0.0.5 and Opera 9.22. However, don't get too excited, these two new releases are hardly packed full of innovative new features, and we'd hardly expect new features. Firefox 2.0.0.5 was a fairly low-key release, shipping with a number of minor security and bug fixes. Opera 9.22 has taken a little longer, and ships with a few new enhancements to the BitTorrent module and more.
We're busy looking to the future. You should see a Firefox 3 beta preview within the next couple of months, as well as the long awaited Opera 9.5. Dubbded 'Kestral', the new browser ships with a number of user-interface improvements, voiceover support on Mac OS X and a huge boost in performance, so you should see your web pages appear even quicker than before.
