Anyone who runs their own e-store or administrates a server, you'll find that you're consistently finding people trying to hack in to your system or using a download manager to bombard your server with requests to download a file that has long since existed on your system. Either way, you might find yourself inclined to contact these users, although contacting people through their IP address is far from easy.
SmartWhois 4.3 is a commercial tool that enables you to extract as much information from their originating IP address. This will contain information about the source country, domain server and even contacts for the person who manages the domain. This is a commercial application and there are many free tools across the Internet.
