Completely remove installed software using Absolute Uninstaller

Grab140 We all want to install the latest software and then leave it on our system for weeks, before we decide to remove. The problem is that when we then remove the software, it can sometimes lead to files left on our machine, entries within the Registry and other software preventing a complete uninstall. This then causes our Registry to be larger than expected and, in return, can slow down our system startup and can conflict with other installed software.

Absolute Uninstaller 2.5 is a free tool that is more powerful than the supplied Windows Add/Remove programs utility. It will go far deeper than simply executing the uninstall script that's supplied with the majority of software. However, whether it's much better than the Vista-based Add/Remove programs facility, is open for question.
