I'd admit that a year ago I had a conversation with a software developer and said that I couldn't see how current applications could be developed beyond their current revisions. Apart from supporting Vista, what do some of the more recent commercial applications offer to most end users? However, I didn't expect so many developers to turn to the Internet and develop applications that would utilise the Internet to enable you to manage your finances, without installing a desktop application, or synchronise files.
SugarSync is an online tool that we're currently testing that enables you to synchronise files across different computers, irrespective of their operating system. For instance, if you want your photos on both a Mac and PC, wherever they are located, choose the files you want to sync and then allow SugarSync to backup these files online and then sync with another computer. You can always access these files from your online account if required.
SugarSync is still in beta and, when out of testing, we'll post download on vnunet.com.
