Choice of disc burning suites with the latest StarBurn 10
Who would guess that there would be a run on disc burning suites that would enable you to pick up a professional burner, for nothing? First security software went from commercial to free, now the burning developers are keen to get their software on to your system, without charge. This means there are a number of excellent free burning tools from the recent BurnAware through to Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.6, which was released a couple of weeks ago.
StarBurn 10 is another. Up until fairly recently, this was a full commercial burning suite. However, the latest standalone version is free of charge (a version for networks is available at a cost). This software is aimed at semi-professional enthusiasts and isn't really a tool like Ashampoo Burning Studio to throw together a quick audio CD. For instance, one of the new features of StarBurn 10 is the support for creating UDF disc images. Most home users wouldn't even have heard of a UDF image.
