Create your own custom install disc with nLite

Screengrab_2 Not all of us have moved over to Vista, maybe you just haven’t got round to it or, like some, you simply prefer XP as your applications work effectively on this operating system. If you’re an experienced PC user and have been using XP for quite some time, you’ll be aware that when you install, it installs a number of unnecessary applications, files and drivers. However, you can customise your installation, producing your own original XP install CD, adding/removing drivers, applications, customising with your own logo and more.

nLite 1.4.5 Beta enables you to customise your original Windows XP disc, adding specific drivers and updates. These features combined help to take your XP package further than Service Pack 2, which is ideal when installing virtualisation software.
