I'm going to probably grab this as its free and it did rank pretty good in tests on the various sites. However, I'm coming to the conclusion that this whole spyware/ anti-virus thing is way overblown. I think my antivirus at home is maybe running in real time but I know I don;t run any anti-spyware in real time. I scan maybe once every 3 to 4 months and have never had either a virus or any spyware.....that's never as in the last 3 1/2 years since I built this computer.
You have to ask yourself if you are one of the paranoids that are running multiple security apps and find it necessary to do so, just what is it in your browsing habits that make it necessary to have to run all of these things. Do you habitually click on every link in the spam that must inundate your inbox? Are you hanging out on dodgy Russian and Chinese websites, IRC chatrooms, downloading everything you come across? Where are all you people going that you seem to feel you need all of this crap and have to scan all of the time?
