Back in the days of Firefox 2, one of the more useful add-ons was the
Google Browser Sync, which is still usable if you've not moved across to Firefox 3. Google decided to stop developing this officially and won't be producing a version of Firefox 3. Instead, Mozilla are busy developing their own browser synchronisation tool,
Weave, and there's another usable add-on from
Foxmarks.
However, all is not lost as
Google Browser Sync has been put in the public domain, which means you might find that a version for Firefox 3 sees the light of day, in the future. Ideal if you're still using Firefox 2 at work and you installed Google Browser Sync.
