Open a few tabs within Firefox and it's not too easy to work out which tab applies to each site and, if you have more tabs than the width of your browser, you need to scroll through your open tabs to find your required site. You can quickly loose your tab position and it doesn't always make for a pleasant browsing experience.
Tab Sidebar 2.01 for Firefox is a system similar to the tabs in the Mac-only browser, OmniWeb, where you see a visual preview of each open tab, much like a screen thumbnail of the page. This enables you to quickly check on open sites, switch between your pages and scroll through them more quickly. You can install Tab Sidebar and it won't replace your existing tab system. You can switch it or or off, swiftly if required.
