Backup, synchronise & share files with Dropbox

Many of us have more the one machine. This may include our regular desktop machine at work, another at home and our laptop, which we take on the road. Factor in our mobile devices such as our iPhone or smartphone, and we always need access to our latest files and documents. Regular online backup tools give you the option to, well, backup securely and then restore if you have issues. A better solution would be a tool that not only will backup your files online, it will also synchronise these files across your other computers and even enable you to share these with other users, if required.

Dropbox 0.6 is a cross-platform backup and synchronisation tool that will enable you to backup files online, synchronise these files across various computers - irrespective of operating system - then also share with other people. Ideal if you want to share some work documents that you are editing, on the road.
