Web designers and anyone who access a remote server, will normally work offline, edit a version of your site locally, then upload the contents using either the design tool or FTP client. However, this isn't the only option and may not be the most appropriate if more than one user is accessing the same files. It's too easy to overwrite relatively new files with your work. The other option is to simply access and use the files on the remote server. With a fast broadband connection, this is certainly an possibility.
WebDrive 8.2 enables you to turn a remote folder, stored on a server, in to a drive, with it's own drive letter, so you can access the contents in the same way as a USB flash drive was connected to your PC.
