Take your word processor on the road using AbiWord Portable
Although most of us a familiar with Microsoft Word, there are able replacements. Many of the features that ship with Word remain unused by the average user, yet because it's so widely used, we seem to ignore the fact there may be alternatives more suited to your needs. Having a small word processor you can take on the move is well worth considering, especially if it's free. By using a portable word processor, you can take it with you and launch the application from a USB stick on any computer you may be using. AbiWord Portable 2.6.4 is a portable word processor with all the necessary features for creating high quality word documents that also supports the Microsoft Word document format (.doc). It's also similar I look and feel to Word and although lacks some useful features Word provides, is well worth looking at.
