Backup & restore your most important files using IDrive Online Backup

Traditional backup tools are having a hard time of it at the moment. They need to change quickly in order to survive. Problem is that, with the move to faster broadband, it's now far more convenient to use the Internet for storing your most important files. With many online backup providers giving users a free 2GB account, this is more than enough for backing up your most important files.

Online backup offers you one key advantage: you can access the data from any computer, via a web browser and even restore the data to another machine, meaning that you can use your online backup account to copy, move and synchronise files between your computers.

IDrive Online Backup 3.2.4 is the desktop tool for the IDrive online backup account which will offer you 2GB of online storage for free. There's also a Mac version of the desktop client, although it won't enable you to use your space for both Windows and Mac backup files. This is something you can do using rival products such as Sugarsync and Dropbox.
