Keep one eye on forthcoming tasks using EssentialPIM

It's way to easy to get bogged down with work and forget a task or an important meeting. I remember in my last company that people would email me to remind me about a forthcoming meeting and it was so easy to forget to add it to the diary. Worse, it's difficult to know who was going to go to the meeting or the room where the meeting would be held. More often than not, they would show at reception and there would be a mad rush trying to get people together, last minute. It would be far easier to use a desktop diary that enabled you to track your 'to do' tasks and share that information with other users.

EssentialPIM Free 3 is one of the better tools and it also ships in a portable version, so you can take your diary, calendar and 'to do' notes on the road. The latest v3 now ships with an email facility so you can receive email and auto-add a meeting request to your calendar. There are a whole host of other enhancements.
