Take Eraser, a permanent file and data shredder, on the road
From time to time we'll need to use a temporary host computer. On vacation recently I had to make a couple of small changes to some documents, but didn't have my laptop. However, there was no chance of leaving any trace of these files on this host machine. Luckily I had a collection of portable applications on a tiny USB drive, which meant it was easy to load the documents in to my Word-compatible portable word processor and then upload with the portable FTP client to the remote server.Eraser Portable 5.87 is a free portable version of the file and data shredder. Simply select the files you want to erase from the computer and Eraser will completely remove them and leave behind no trace. Instead of trying to empty your trash, use this portable file eraser instead.
