Over the next few years the way in which we watch television will go through a number of changes. For those of us in the UK, all analogue broadcasts will be switched off by 2012 to be superseded by an array of new, high definition services. Gradually though, more and more people are beginning to use their computers to access new and more interesting programs. Why not use your PC to play to tune in and play MPEG-2 video streams? You could even record them to your hard drive and watch them at a later date.
ProgDVB 6.06.5 is a freeware application that can record programs, display TV full screen and will even decode HD streams. Although it's a good tool for watching satellite and streaming TV on your PC, setup can be confusing for newcomers.
