Go out and buy a brand new computer and the first thing you'll want to
do is partition the existing drive. That can be tricky, when the
manufacturer has pre-installed Windows and other software. There might
be more than a few partitions, some of which you'd like to delete or
merge in to one larger partition. Either way, the software required to
do this won't have shipped with Windows and it's wise to keep some
partitioning software in your collection of applications, in case you
want to re-partition at a later date. Buy an external hard drive and
you may want to partition this. You may need to give your system
partition more space, in the future. The options are endless.
