iTunes is the
most commercially successful music managing application ever produced,
for both Macs and PCs, as well as being the world's largest online music store. The key to iTunes mass appeal is mostly down to its
usability, but as with anything, that's not to say it doesn't have its faults. One of the
most frustrating thing about iTunes is that without using an iTunes
equipped machine, theres no way of managing your audio or other files stord on it. This is obviously completely impractical if on the move,
as you have no access to a computer, let alone
one equipped with iTunes.
Floola 5.5
is a standalone, cross-platform application that can be launched
directly from your iPod and requires no installation. It supports all
commonly used features such as artwork, smart playlists and podcasts.
You can also use it to convert audio or video, so that you can copy
almost any file to your iPod and even enables you to add YouTube and
MySpace videos by entering the URL.
